Paige is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional and the principal consultant with Safely Managed Consulting based in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. She has more than ten years of safety management systems auditing experience with the Partnerships COR program in three provinces. An experienced safety trainer and education partner with WorkSafeBC, Paige offers help to companies developing strong safety management systems that will exceed regulatory requirements.
Paige has been involved in workplace health and safety in different roles for over 20 years. Her experience working as a Health & Safety Advisor in the heavy industrial sector allowed her the opportunity to work with municipalities on a project specific basis.

John is an experienced professional in Occupational Health and Safety. He is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional, a Certified Health and Safety Consultant and also Certified External Auditor for the construction industry.
His professional background includes twenty five years in the safety industry. He has served clients in forestry, mining, construction and municipalities. For the past eight years he has been working extensively with municipalities and regional districts. Dean is a Registered Professional Forester and has worked in the BC and New Zealand forest industries since 1987. His experience is closely related to the municipal sector from a safety perspective due to the similar variety of operations that can occur in both forestry and municipal environments including manual labor, heavy machinery, working in proximity to public, and maintaining public values. Safety requirements are very similar from a legislative perspective. Dean is a certified external auditor for the BC Forest Safety Council and Construction Safety Network COR programs and has completed over 200 COR audits to date.

David was formerly employed in the forest industry as a professional Forester. He worked for various Forest Companies on the Coast and Interior of BC. David has been an internal auditor for ISO 14001 and CSA Z809 audits. He’s an external auditor for both the BC Forest Safety Council and BC Municipal Safety Association. He was employed by the City of Prince George as Industry Liaison during the 2007/2008 State of Emergency flooding of Prince George by the Nechako River. He is located in Richmond, B.C. and willing to travel as required.

Safety Sciences is an Occupational Safety Company offering Safety Services to industry and Government. The company is owned and operated by Stuart Johnston who is a graduate Civil Engineer.
Stuart worked in the construction industry for many years and also spent 8 years as an Occupational Safety Officer with the WCB. He has also consulted to several municipalities as an Occupational Safety Resource, most recently with the District of Mission and the City of Pitt Meadows. He is a certified external auditor for the Construction Safety Network and brings that experience to the BC Municipal Safety Association.
